Who is X-Feds Investigative Group?

X-Feds Investigative Group is owned and operated by Brian Southard and Rick Devore, who are both retired Federal Agents with more that 63 years of investigative experience.  X-Feds was formed in late 2023 and is based in Franklin, North Carolina.  Investigator Southard (NC PI License #701777) and Investigator Devore (NC PI License #131636) are licensed through the North Carolina Private Protective Services Board as Private Investigators.  X-Feds is an active member of the North Carolina Association of Private Investigators.

What is a Private Investigator?

A Private Investigator is not a member of any law enforcement organization.  They are private citizens, who have diverse investigative experience in criminal, family, and civil law.  They are also licensed through the state in which they operate to perform private investigations while staying within the boundaries of the law.  X-Feds Investigative Group is licensed through the North Carolina Private Protection Services Board.
